Welcome to the The Catholic Women of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.  By joining the parish, you have become a member of this worthy organization and your name assigned to a team with the other fine women from your parish.  Team lists can be found on the pages in your booklet, or by the clicking the link above.  Please know that your participation and help is necessary and greatly appreciated when you are called and asked to fulfill a need.

Each team is headed by a chairwoman who will serve a one year term from April 1st to March 31st, after which her name will be moved to the bottom of the list, moving up the next name on the list to fill the position.  If you are unable to help in this capacity for any reason, please let one of the organization officers know.  You may be able to help us in another way.

Teams will take turns contributing their services for church social events that come up during the year. the main social events are: Coffee & Rolls when scheduled; Funeral dinners (food only); First Communion and Senior Mass.

On occasion, your services may be requested at other events. The organization President will call a chairwoman when a team is needed for a function. Each team serving is responsible for complete kitchen clean up, including washing the dish towels that are used and returning them back to the hall.  Teams are responsible for depositing any donations into the Catholic Women’s account at the Tilden Bank.

Everyone is called to donate for OLMC’s St. Pat’s Bash, the Parish’s annual fundraiser.  For your convenience, a link is provided for the recipes for St. Patrick’s Irish Stew and St. Patrick’s Chili.

Funeral Corp

Members of the Funeral Corp are responsible for working, serving and cleanup during the funeral dinners, and will be notified by the Funeral Corp Chairwoman, Gloria Hatterman, when their services are needed. Those requesting a funeral dinner are charged for the main meal. Side dishes consisting of dessert bars and salads are donated from the OLMC teams notified. Members of the Funeral Corp will be exempt from all other services with the exception of the annual Pat's Bash fundraiser.
